A mini-twine essay about one of my favorite games of all time: Mad Father. A game created by Sen, it influenced a whole chain of pixel horror RPG games that followed after it, utilizing the best of it's mechanics in the WOLF RPG engine, shaping the way many creators of the time saw horror through the simplistic lense of puzzle solving combined with ambience in a simple pixel game.
